Front Panel
Channel Select Buttons: All eight switches, one for each input channel, monitors the signal from the channel and
lights the corresponding LED. Any combination of channels can be selected.
Volume Control: Rotary potentiometer with knob controls the volume of internal or external speaker. Has no effect
on the VU Bargraph Meter.
Processor/Amplier Switch: Switch with corresponding LEDs selects inputs from cinema processor or power
amplifiers for monitoring.
VU Bargraph Meter: 12-segment meter displays input level of selected channels from -40 VU to +3 VU. May be
calibrated by rear-panel trim adjustment and operates independently of Volume Control.
Test Jack: Inserting a 1/4” jack lets the user monitor audio output.

Amplier Returns Terminal Block: Left High, Left Low, Center High, Center Low, Right High, Right Low, Left

Surround & LFE Terminal Block: Left Surround, Right Surround, Effects, Low Right Surround, Rear Right Surround,
Low-Frequency Effects, and Spare; also has ‘Line Out’ terminals.
Screen & LFE Terminal Block: Left High, Left Low, Effects, Right High, Right Low, Center High, Center Low, and Low-
Frequency Effects.
HD-15 Connectors: Lrs/Rrs, SPARE, LFE3/LFE4, Rl/Rh, LFE1/LFE2, Ll/Lh, and Cl/Ch all connect to amplifiers for
both input and output signals.
Crossover & Spare Inputs: Receives audio for the left, center and right channels from the processor or crossover.
Main Inputs: Connection point from the cinema processor over 25-pin connector.
HI/VI-N Out: Receives Hearing Impaired (HI) and Visually Impaired (VI) signals from the processor.
